Because they look like idiots because they are your "typical" douche that only trains muscles that girls want to see. It's called "body building" not "upper body building"

Do I?? I was the captain of my varsity wrestling team at 17, and from what I can tell, was in much better shape than you. Sorry. But this isn't about you and I, and I'm too old to argue with kids on the internet.

lolol good for you buddy... let's see some pictures of you back then. Notice i said "physique" not that I was in better shape. Your so quick to counter argue, you don't even realize what i say. For all i know your wrestling team was shitty and you were one of the better guys on the team... Being an anorexic kid with abs doesn't account for having a good physique like most kids think since guys take pictures of their abs and post it all over facebook and instagram

Looks like im late to the party lol but man i don't think you under stand how genetic works in body building, if working on a body part alone can get them huge, former Mr.O flex wheeler would't need calf implants. on another hand someone whos like me who never do arms and calfs have huge arms and calfs. its genetics.

    Arms are looking solid Eric.

Yeah I hit calves 2-3 times a week. Before I would only train them once a week. I have seen a little progress but still are stubborn.

My legs are actually thick I just need some cows hanging from the back if my legs.

I totally agree. I used to work out and eat like crap and never saw any results. But now that I eat whole foods and diet right I see a lot more progress. Are you still competing?

I wouldn't go out and say you have huge arms and calf's when they are surrounded with fat... I agree you have big calf's, arms however need to lean out

but that's my point, i don't ever work them directly yet they are decent sized, vs some of my friends who work calfs and arms hard as fuck and they are not even close to my size. you can say whatever you want but in the end to me at least if you are strong then who cares if your calfs is little small or your arms are little small.

I haven't competed since 2009 but I still maintain my routine and diet. I plan on doing it again after I'm done with school and have a steady job. I was 19 in those pics and I wasn't working. My daily routine was nothing more than cooking, eating, and training.

I haven't given an update in a while. (I haven't been taking too many progress pics

I snapped a shot of my quads as I was contracting in the middle of my rep.

I haven't noticed how much my legs have grown.

Here are some videos of when I first started really focusing on my form. I had really bad form and I struggled with light weight. Although my form isn't perfect I feel like it has improved quite a bit.

Here is a video of my bad form squatting

Like I said, I have a lot of things to work on still. I've sought some professional advise with these videos.

I guess I'm just too darn cute. Lol not sure how I picked up that habit.

    none yet
i've been working out 1-5 days a week for the past 25 years. i am slender, but relatively muscular, no fat at all. before i started lifting, i was a pencil-necked geek, but then i looked like a 'regular guy.' nobody would ever think i lifted weights regularly, if you know what i mean. still slender, just not scrawny. i weigh 165, i could bench about 125.

i am 44 now and for the past year, i have not had the same energy to do my workouts. i still go, but it's less weight. the strength is not there, and in fact, just doing some mild workouts i've hurt myself so much i could not work out that muscle for a few months. i hurt both my shoulders doing pull-downs, for example. the right side healed in a week and the left took a few months. at that was during a mild workout after a two week break when i had a cold.

i have recently found myself at the gym 2-3 days a week doing cardio only. i've never done that.

i have never taken any supplements, and i am not sure i want to. i've always had a good, balanced diet - no fast food, no junk food. (guys at work go out to fast food for lunch and i wind up going somewhere else by myself.) i have a couple of beers a week and maybe cheat with a little bag of potato chips with my Subway tuna fish sandwich.

what i am asking: is there anything i can do? at my age, should i just do cardio and be happy i am healthy? people say i look early 30's. full hair and very little grey. i miss having some muscle tone, and being able to help someone move their furniture and not being afraid to hurt myself.

at 42 years old, i still had a 6-pack stomach, and the V below the belt. it's going away, it's like my testosterone jumped off a cliff.

i just don't have the energy anymore.

If you are under 30 there is no reason not to be in shape. When you hit 40 , 50 it starts to get tough!
