do you sand off the rust for touch ups?

I don't care if it looks good (plenty of scratches down the sides from being out in the mountains), i just want to eliminate the rust spot and/or prevent it from spreading.

I have plenty of Colorado pinstripes on my truck too. As well as a highlift oops scratch and dent.

I would say get a small piece of sandpaper on the end of something small like a pen and clean up the rust a bit. Put some rust converter on and then use the color matched pen.

Ha! My wife and parking garages didn't get along. She had yellow pinstripes all around her Camry Hybrid (plus a caved in door or two) before we had the whole thing repainted and traded it in on my Tacoma. Best move ever.

well, I gotta do my 60,000 mile service in the next few hundred miles, and still need to get my 886 coils on. Im too lazy to look now, and am trying to get some yard work done before the storm comes in. is it just oil, diffs, spark plugs, and grease?

Also, any want to brave the weather and go the the Braves-Rockies game tonight? Im thinking about rock pile.

Phil did you get my PM?
