Hopefully this one is legitimate... As soon as the bombing happened, hundreds of websites were created to help "fund" recovery of the ordeal. Many out there are fake, so just be careful and do research before you donate!

^^ Good call. This seems to be the one. No one has said this isn't legit, and too much money has been donated at this point to NOT have it checked out, you know?

Very true, I'd be surprised if this one wasn't legit. Just want to make sure nobody sees this and decides they won't to do some more donating and ends up donating to a scam.

I did a search "is bucks for bauman legitimate". The normal assortment of links came up.. FB with a link to it, cnn, and more.
12 or more related links from sites relating to running and the bombing incident don't prove they are legit, but I'm sticking some of my money out there that it is.

^^ I did the same, and figured since none of the big news organizations found it wasn't legit, as they will do, I donated, too. :D
    EDIT: great ABC News link!

I've looked at some of this false flag BS, and I just find it insulting and infuriating. OK, there were some people carrying backpacks and wearing 511-style pants. Oh, and there were bomb-sniffing dogs. THAT means Navy Seals blew up our neighbors in Boston.

I will be the first one to admit that our government too often puts its interests before ours, but to intentionally blow up women and children to advance some sort of political agenda? No way.

And to the folks espousing such a view, STFU!

It seems he isn't as hardcore as his brother, no suicide vest, not willing to die for his cause and he is willing to talk. What he did is inexcusable though.

He is most likely doped up on morphine and lots of other drugs. He is feeling weak and vulnerable and also some euphoria.

Its natural to give up and capitulate when in this state.

Give this guy a few months to recover and he'll go back to being an evil hateful violent murderous person.

    Ummm, I will bet....no he won't.

he is going to willingly give the FBI every last bit of information
he can. he has a life and a family and things were GREAT for him
until his brother got him sucked into this mess. he wishes for that
    life back

he will do all he possibly can to to assist the investigation, this is what I think about it

Yeah I tend to agree with this, I do have a slight doubt about this because a lot of his friends said it had been about a year since they had spoken to him and in that year he could have decided that he truly did believe in what his brother believed. If you think about it though, how many of you have older brothers you look up to, or even a younger brother who looked up to you. I would not be surprised if the older brother used that to his and turned the younger brother to commit such a horrible act. It does NOT excuse what he did but its just something I have been thinking about since they caught him.

These "Islamic terrorist" think it is honourable to die for there cause, him getting caught and communicating tells me he wasn't that deep into it and it was the brothers influence. But he did the crime so he should do the time, if he wanted to play the he was forced into it card he should have given himself up when his died, but he didn't so he was equally responsable.

The fact is the "kid" is a 19 year old adult and has a mind of his own. The "older brother influenced him" thing might be true for a younger person... doesn't work in this case. They both knew what they were doing was wrong.
