if they offered me 30k, I would really think hard about it. I have been keeping track of everything that I spend on it, and Im at about 33k total investment. thats not a bad turn around. get a used tacoma or 4runner and a garage and some spending money.

 

i could get a base model and mod it to what I have now for not much more than 30k, and have 60,000 less miles

not working now, but i start back with my old company in a week or two. They ended up winning the contract that I was supposed to be on, so they are bringing me back. I just need to negotiate a higher salary.

That's why you keep the stock stuff and swap it all out before you trade it, then sell your after market stuff. That's what I did with my modded jetta prior to trading it in for the taco

You can also do "cash + your stock parts". At least I keep telling myself that when I throw a stock part away that is just taking up space in the garage.
