    Gahh!! I totally would guys, but it looks like we are going to be throwing the lines and heading to Dutch Harbor on Memorial Day Weekend. FML.

    Think of it as a pre-trip scout..

    I need to do some more research on my end of things. Looks like the weather will be somewhat mild for the next week. I'll be packing my Mountain Hardware 3.5 season tent, camp stove, tools etc. May even pick up a Coleman Dual Burner/propane tank. Evaluating doing this one alone - pondering the thought of throwing a 2 meter like the Yaesu FT-1900R in the truck as a more reliable source of comms. 3 out of 3 of the areas that I've just explored had no cell coverage whatsoever. I always pack my 406 mHz Personal Locator Beacon with me, but that's really only a last ditch life of death resort.
