    Well... near as I can tell, it says it has the LSD additive in it. Your profile says you have the TRD offroad so you don't need the LSD additive (no mechanic limited slip). Not sure if it will hurt anything though.

    i never saw anything about an additive?? just says it meets requirements of convential and limited slip diffs.

    It won't. Though I understand that the friction modifiers will allow the oil to oxidize sooner but it's still not really an issue if you change it as you ought to. FWIW, Mobil1 and Valvoline (syn and dino) both have friction modifiers in their oil as well.

    Castrol is good stuff though.

    I just assumed since it says "Limited Slip" in big letters on it.
    Looks like you will be fine though.


    Since I got my 4.88's I have been running the Super Tech Synthetic
    $30 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75W-90 from Walmart. Costs less than $5 per quart.

    I may run that too next time. Heck it probably comes from the same factory as all the others.

    I just wasnt around walmart yesterday and didnt even think twice about checking there.
