    Keep the 02... Love this truck more than the 2nd gen... my family has both.

    It's either 02 with Maintenance or 13 with Payments + Maintenance

    Good call, that was a no brainer.

    Think about it this way... no matter what, that 2013 truck is going to cost you $25,000 - $30,000 over the next 3-5 years. That's right. 25 to 30 THOUSAND DOLLARS. Your 02 is just broken in and will have a long life if cared for. Think of all the stuff you can buy for $30K. Hell, I bet $30K would be a hell of a down payment for a house in Idaho!

    Keep your truck as long as possible. I have a 2002. My friend just bought a 2013 tacoma trd offload. It's a amazing truck no doubt but after taxes, and the extended warranty it was 40k ouch.
