    Ok, so I know I've probably asked this before, but how much will a 6" pro comp lift cost to install? I'd do it myself if I didn't have to cut a cross member. And 35's won't be too cheap. What's really going to kill me is a re-gear. Which I need cause I'll be driving a lot of highway miles and I need the gas milage. Yes, it'll be a mall crawler. I've got a heep that I use as a beater for off roading haha. Keep the truck nice and keep the jeep on the trails. Any input would be appreciated.

    You would be surprised how easy the cross member is to cut. If you are mechanically inclined just do it yourself . Prefers doing as much work on my truck as possible.

    Really? Even cutting the frame and welding that block in there? Got a write up on it or anything?

    Im not the best at all of this since I just started working on my own truck/jeep but I've got a few friends that know how to do all kinds of stuff like this. One has a 79 yota on 40's ;)

    Thanks for the link! And maybe I'm thinking of something else? I thought I remember a video of cutting a crossmember 6"s and putting a metal block in there and welding that inside the crossmember. Maybe I'm thinking about how to "un-do" a DB lift?

    And what mpg's can I expect with an auto on 35's? Right now I think I'm getting around 13-14.

    ^ with my mt on 315/70/17 on average i was getting about 260-300 miles on stock gears. I am not sure now since i regeared.
