    i know that. its not a small area. where do you plan on starting.

    I think I have ridden in that area once before but it was a long while ago. when you thinking of doing this?

    Looks like it was actually this morning. I imagine you can still see some, but I guess the peak time was 4-4:30am EST which would have been 2-2:30 am for us...

    So this is fucked up... or a mistake maybe. I just found a FS thread for some extended travel Fox C/O's so I looked them up on DSM. http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-7...rrent-extended-travel-factory-series-kit.html

    The are 17.5" coll and 22.5" ext for a total of 5" of travel.
    My 5100's are 17" coll and 22.5" ext for a total of 5.5" of travel.

    If that is right 5100's are better (at least as far as travel numbers) than the ext. travel Foxes...

    I've been trying to find Icon's ext trav coilover numbers for a while now but can't find anything...

    The LT guys told me that those 8" travel shocks won't clear my CV's so that is kind of out, unless I can figure out how much of an extension I need to clear my CV's then find a shock with that much less lengths to cram in there.

    Long travel up front will be a ways out yet, but new shocks up front would be nice. My 886's don't provide enough lift with the skids now and I don't dare bump that spring plate up to the next setting for fear that the 886's would over extend my 5100's...

    As far as I can tell with everything I looked at I think that 5100's are the same length or longer than all of the ext. travel shocks out there actually. OEM Kings are the same size as the ext. trav foxes. Icon is the only brand I can't find numbers on.

    Well in theory I should have about 16" of wheel travel with 8" C/O's. Although you might be looking at more than 16" of travel depending on where those 16's are placed.

    Icon's are 6". They do have rod ends that allow the spring cup to clear the CV's, but it adds to the OL

    Just went out and took some measurements and I must have measured for coilovers wrong when I was at Ben's (didn't try real hard though). My measurement's with the 5100 both in and out at full droop was 27.25" so it is my UCA that is limiting my droop and not my 5100 like I had previously though. With my bumpstop touching the strike pad I measured 17.25" so I have pretty much exactly 10" of useable travel. 11-12" if bumpstop compression counts. haha

    Now for the main reason I went out... What does this look like to you guys? (Although the angle and lighting are kind of screwy so hard to tell...)

    If you need something to take the rust off, get OSPHO. Does a good job with simple rust like that.
