Haha! I like to hike up to it when people are wheeling it. Sit there with a case o beer then hike back down to my friends cabin. I wish she wasn't remodeling her house or I would ask her to go up when you guys run it so we would have a bad ass place to stay.

    Fixed that for ya.

Jace if you hurry up I might be ready to run it by then. :D been talking with some people to fab up bumpers. Looking at an arb compressor my buddy does not want anymore and some other little things. I plan on keeping the build moving forward at a fast pace.

Oh I know. I have been up there plenty of times. But I have already ordered more stuff. You would actually be surprised to see what rednecks get across that creek with a little ignorance.

A couple friends and I are aiming to make a three day weekend of a trip down to run the Alpine Loop with Black Bear and Imogene Passes as well as any and all spurs that look like fun. Looking forward to exploring some of the old mining sites as well. We'll be going either the first or second weekend in August. We would run it with Monte's group, but they won't be starting the loop until a Sunday or Monday.

May hit up the Crystal Mill mine on the way home too.

Any and all are welcome that want to wheel and camp with us in the San Juans for the weekend. :D

Yeah that's kind of buggy area. I would have called you guys high and hiked up that part. Even if mine is ready by then with arb lockers bumpers and skids I would not go up there. :D

For those that are stock - The alpine loop is stocker friendly for the most part if you have decent tires. You might not be able to do Black Bear or Imogene, but there are a lot of trails in that area can be done in stock 4x4.

Was looking into doing the Alpine loop with Monte's group, but doing it on a weekend would work better for me.

Keep us updated, would love to join you guys!
