is that 1/4" on 2x4's (or 2x3's) with 1x4's for the horizontal shelf braces? I am looking to do something similar with one wall in my shed...

 

Its all 2x4s and 1/2" plywood. I could probably stack 1000s of pound on it haha. The bottom is actually 3/4 because i couldn't add any joists, there is a dryer vent running along the floor underneath it so in order to keep the bottom shelf low i couldn't use joists. That was actually what my mom asked me to do, re route the dryer vent to the exterior because it was venting into the garage before. I think i got a little carried away lol.

 

Wow, i leave this place alone a day and there's 10 pages of new BS.

BS was definitely on the agenda today!

 

My day consisted yelling with the foreman and because I didn't "go by the book" to install s mirror bracket. I wanted the adhesive to stick better so I put my cookie in the grinder and got ride of the paint on both surfaces and put it together. The service manager liked the way I did it.

Parts lady got me all pissy. Gave her my vin for parts. She got the ball joints right but then the shocks was a shit show of arguing. All I did was look at the box and knew they were the wrong ones. She was bitching how I didn't even open them and how would I know. I said "just return them ill get my own" she is such a bitch.

I scored a brand new exhaust from another forum member on here a couple weeks ago. It's for a DClong bed. I was gonna stock it for my sister's truck when the day came but that's too long for me. I figure i'll cut it to fit my DCSB and add an after market muffler. Should be do able, no ?

 

What did you do ? replace the stock front's ?

 

Glad its going well for you, it gives me faith haha. I think im going to go pick up a good quality e-cig tomorrow, a shop just opened up a few towns over for me, i have heard the good ones are alot better than the gas station throw aways. I am on a deadline to quit now, or at least cut back to only a few a day
