    What version are you running?

Try ebay... sometimes there are older versions of it there within a decent price range. Our Photoshop is 7.0 (ANCIENT!!).

We've been shopping around, specifically for an updated version of Dreamweaver (again, we have an ANCIENT version of it).

Photoshop v7.0.1 may be "ancient," as you say, but it's still regarded by many of the pros as one of the best versions of Photoshop ever released.

Personally I've run every version of Photoshop from 2.5 in the early 90's to CS3 today as an essential set of tools for my work, and of all of them I continue to prefer v7.0.1 as my daily photo editor of choice.

So if you have a copy of PSv7, count your blessings!

    Thanks! That's good to hear.

We don't need an updated version as we don't do much with it. It's definately nice to have. On the other hand....I really want a new Dreamweaver!!

Everytime we change a version of something that's THAT old....is the fear of not knowing how to 'get around' in the programs. My gawd, I can't even get around in the newest Excel because I can't find stuff.

Truth is that even if you did a lot with Photoshop you wouldn't gain anything to write home about by going to a version newer than v7. Trust me on that one!!

Lot's of ways to find a working copy, either on line (can you spell T O R R E N T!) or possibly from a friend or someone you know..

You're a smart gal, ..you'll figure it out soon enough!

Not a lot of people we know have PC Dreamweaver....(Mac version, yes).
We had a chance at buying the whole bundle of software but procrastinated and the date expired.

So.... Looking to buy Dreamweaver somewhere. Don't necessarily need the newest of the new but a year old version would be good also (better than my 10 year old version).

Any ideas of where to buy? I've seen lots on ebay. Just looking for some info if ya'll know of some places. THanks!

Anyone know the difficulties in installing this on two computers?
It's been a while since I bought software like this, so I don't know how difficult its become to do that.

Edit: I think I found that you can install up to two computers (in a 'home based' setting) as long as (technically) it's only used on one computer at a time. Awesome!! And something about installing it on as many computers as you want but you can only 'activate' two computers? Anyone have more info on that? Has that changed?

    EDIT!!!
Don't buy from TechDeckDirect. I did some searching and it seems they have one complaint on the Better Business Bureau and selling illegal copies
    http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/459/ripoff0459167.htm

Back to ebay - $748 for it.

And yes...you can have it installed on two computers but you can only use one at a time (per Adobe - called them today).
