Ya HD lumber sucks, i find lowes to be better. I like to use my local lumber yard when i can, better quality and selection but not as cheap. Framing those platforms can be a pain. I usually stack 2x6s on edge right on top of the ceiling joist and secure them with 3/4 plywood gussets. If you do it that way nail the gussets onto one side of the ceiling joists first, then put the 2x6 in place and nail the gusset to it, then sandwich the 2x6 in with another gusset from the other side. Depending on the lumber i usually do 12" x 10" squares of plywood, one every 4' and alternate them side to side

I bought the Blu one. Only $10..I figure why spend $100 or so on one if I don't want to use it long anyhow?

Just got Fox Racing extended travel reservoir rear shocks for $200. Just need the bushings for the stem (no problem)

    Wicked stoked!

If you're going to be in a union, that is probably the best around.

What really pushed me out was no benefits. I was paying 120.00 a week for medical for a single guy. No retirement unless I did it. No 401k. No eye. No dental. Ya the money was great but you have to many people that control you check. The writers control how many veh get booked for the day and if they want an easy day they book it light. Then you have the dispatcher who has a chip on his shoulder towards you. You get all warranty work. Then the parts counter can really fuck your day

I'm thinking about making a ritual sacrifice to the FedEx g-ds today, in hopes I get lift and have time to install. Perhaps I should burn my regular mail or stab a UPS box???
