My buddy and I bought 2000 rds of 308 AM 150gr BT at $0.73/rds in Jan. On month later, it's a $1.20/rds. Glad I made the purchase then. I only run through 2 boxes of 308 in a day's shoot since I'm bolt action, but he is trigger happy on his scar 17s and usually goes through 5 boxes.

Not bad for 150 gr. Remington R700 AAC-SD at 100 yrds. No wind. Caldwell bipod. Bushnell 6500 Tactical 6-24x-50 scope.

Hell i feel stupid now, i thought it was the scar by the buttstock but after you said acr i went and looked haha i wouldnt mine one of those either, is bushmaster the only one who makes it? Is it worth the cash? Ive never seen it in FDE before and ive only seen the SCAR in FDE haha thats the first time ive messed em up.

Bushmaster is the only one that makes it...I don't know if they still do though. I (over)paid $2000 for it when they first came out...you can get one for about $1700-1800 now. I think it's worth it, since you can change it out to fire the 6.8mm spc and since it doesn't get dirty like a regular AR can if you don't keep it clean. Now, if only they made and sold the barrel and lower receiver to fire the 6.8 spc...

That's a pretty small group for that range...good shooting mechanics and a good scope. You ever have any problems with the 700 firing while on safe? I know Remington has had a problem with their 700's doing that in the past...

Will do! I should be ashamed at how many $60 per case of (1000) AK rounds I have shot over the years. I have been on that lease for about 8 years now, wonderful place to shoot. Desert Sand Mica 08 DC, stop by and say hello.

In cali is it legal to do AR pistol on an 80% or do they automatically consider it an SBR?
