Business cars, flyers, pictures of your work would all be good.

Not sure, but I think some type of general liability insurance maybe good to have.

If you damage the customer's vehicle by mistake, I am not sure if your "regular" insurance will cover the damages. I would check with your insurance company.

I know for plowing, you need general liability insurance in case you damage someone's property.

There is a service that comes into my wife's work every Friday and does three or four cars sometimes more, every time he comes in. He does a very nice job. He charges $15.00 which I think is very reasonable for the job he does. My wife also gives him a $5.00 tip. He has two helpers with him, sometimes each is working on a car, sometimes all three are on one car.
Now insurance, good question. I asked Sue and she has no idea if this guy has insurance or not, we never gave it a thought. He does drive her car across the street. The business across the street has a huge parking lot and he allows them to use it to clean the cars. He also does the employee cars that work there. He has a trailer with his own water supply and so on.
I think you need to at least look into the liability issue, to protect yourself as well as the hordes of customers that you will have. :D
Good luck to you if you go for it. This guy is very very busy. Where my wife works there are a lot of small business's and we have seen him at most of them off and on. We have also seen him around town.

Key House Democrat Wants More Government Say in Executive Pay
Rep. Barney Frank wants to develop guidelines for compensation practices and not just for companies receiving government bailout dollars.
