Hey guys, I've been stalking the site for the last couple of months reading as much as i could about the new Tacomas. Finally i got the balls and went out and bought one. Its a 2009 4x4 4 cylinder. I got the SR5 package. So far I got 300 miles on her and Im loving every minute of it. Ill be sure to post pics as I do my mods. I bought it as a computer car to work, and to haul my toys around. Ive already done the seat belt one, that one works great. Here are a couple I snapped today.

How cool! That's exactly the configuration i want (4cyclinder, magnetic grey, access cab). I would only add the 5-speed. What is your opinion on the 4-cyclinder as far as pickup goes?

Its actually Pyrite Mica, and I got the 5 speed. It moves ok, I dont really care about speed. Im only going to be hauling my dirt bike on the weekends, and maybe a small boat so i figured the 4 clinder should be plenty powerful. It goes good on the highway.

    soon to come...
Welcome from NH as well. :)
Hillsboro area here. Good luck with the mods. I got mine a few weeks ago (already 1200 miles) and have already camped with it twice. Radio, hitch and other mods still in the mail.

The 4cyl has been great for me. The pick up isn't bad. It's certainly bulkier then when i had the v6 in my 99. But my first two tanks, 23.4 mpg! I'll take that over speed any day.
