    This pleases me :D
Map showing the ages in which you can open carry in each state. As I am not 21 yet...in idaho and most bordering state it doesen't matter (utah is 21 though. piss):D
Also apparently in wyo there isnt an age limit...dam 12 year olds carrying around their glocks.

cause id still have Frank :D haha

and cause i don't have a need for it..i just need another vehicle with more space then what i have now and a bit better mileage.

If its an SR5 double cab..most likely a bare bones one with the 4 banger and auto. So would do better then what i have.

then after im done..if i could afford it. Id re purpose Frank to a hard core rig. And re do the double cab as a expo truck more so.

    thats just me dreaming tho..

So you have to be 21 to buy a pistol and pistol ammo, so doesn't that technically mean you have to be 21 to own a pistol and since you aren't 21 won't that likely cause problems if someone starts questioning you about open carrying a pistol?...
Yeah I knew they weren't cheap... It's some hard thick plastic. It can practically support the weight of the back end of the pickup. That is the way the skid plate are setup for 2nd gens.
I'm all for open carry. Open carry can pretty much go one of two ways in a situation. Either makes you target number one for the criminal or makes the criminal go elsewhere or come back later. For most criminals it is the latter of the two.

The problem with concealed carry is that if you get in a situation/confrontation you can get hit with brandishing a firearm if you show it, draw it, or even mention to the confrontational individual that you have a firearm on you. With open carry it is right there in the open and they know you have it so the situation is much more likely to not escalate. With your concealed carry permit you basically aren't allowed to draw that firearm unless you basically have no choice but to shoot the "criminal".

For the military and police one of the biggest factors in self defense is "show of force". You show them what you have and then if they decide to confront you, that is their choice and most likely loss. For example when in Iraq if we had problems with individuals acting funny and not being compliant, they were looking down the barrel of a firearm pretty quick and that usually changed their tone. On the civilian side that will get you a brandishing ticket so fast it's not even funny so open carry really is the only show of force you have with a firearm.

That's my opinion between the two anyway. Basically the same opinion of the guy who taught my CWP class as well. He said he is always armed and the only time it is concealed is when he is in a state that doesn't allow open carry.
