I miss River Rave..saw Live and Red Hot Chili Peppers on that tour a while ago. Live really killed it, wasn't a big fan till I saw that show. RHCP is a 27 year fave of mine now, I had Freaky Styley when it was the current on vinyl.

Slayer is another band I'm always up for seeing..I'll find the $$ to go. Want to see them at a small place like the Palladium though to hear some of their stuff they can't play at large shows.

Last summer at Mayhem I had a bunch of loud guys behind me yelling for Slayer and singing the songs. 5 songs in I turn around and see a bunch of 16 yr olds..sweet!! I told them it gives me hope to know that this generation doesn't all listen to that Justin Bieber crap

Thats good. So you gave a notice and he accepted it. With us if I go in and give a notice alot of times they tell you no thanks. So you need to let the new place know you may start early.

Ya i was pretty nervous telling him. My mom had me thinking that they would do be pissed and either tell me to not come back tomorrow or at least make me turn in the van and gas card. My supervisor and the owner were both really understanding though and took it well. Also told me if it doesn't go well they would be happy to take me back.

I like every band in the line up, except I'm not familiar with anything by Downset or Slo Burn.

That helps make the switch easier cause you have that safety net if it doesnt work. Also says something about your work ethic that they would take you back

The last hour of my day has been a perfect example of why i want to leave this company. Supervisor calls me at 2:30, he just stopped at a job that the painters just finished the exterior "hey can you stop by this job on the way home the painters left a few shutters off the house" im thinking no problem, ill be there for ten minutes and still be getting out on time. I get there and theres only 4 shutters they didnt put up. Well the reason they didnt put them up is because it is a pain in the ass to get to them, no where to set up a ladder. Then i see this

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366832014.067476.jpg

The wrong side is painted on one, and the screws they used are to short and only grabbing onto the cedar shakes. not the plywood under the siding. So called the boss up, instead of telling the painters to come back he asks me to take the shutter home and paint it, then come back tomorrow and re screw all the shutters. What the fuck, the painters got paid and they fucking hacked it up, tell them to come back. Im tempted to call them myself. Ok end rant :D

That would be nice, but if the new job turns out as good as it sounds im not going back, unless they promote me and want me to run jobs and make over 100k a year lol. I dont think i would be ready for that yet anyway.

Why can't people build walls that are plumb and true, makes my work look like shit when I hang something and there are gaps or the wall just kinda fades away from it.
