Getting the shocks set up and bed cage done.

 

^^ Now that looks good. Total bed saver. What size shock are you fitting under that?

 

2.5" x 16"

 

I used all my stock pump sensors everything in mine never had to pass emissions thou

 

Im surprised those arent ADS shocks with how much you promote them!

 

That's cause they are the kings off my truck so I can switch over to ADS. LOL

 

I remember reading on here a while back about locking bolts and nuts for shocks.
Anyone have the link to where I can buy some?
After removing my rear shocks in a few minutes, thought it might be a good idea to invest in some kind of a locking device.

I was thinking about this too. Rear shocks remove very quickly. Right now I have some shitty blown 5100's but if I were to get some bypasses that are actually worth something, someone could make them disappear pretty quickly if they wanted...

I removed mine in like 3 minutes bymyself haha
Someone could make a 2 grand swoop really quickly

 

I notes ames put some weld on his bolt so im going to try that, tje mire work they have to do the less likely they will steal

 

u can get a jaz 22gal for 300

 

Master lock makes them, rondog has em on his truck. They are in his build thread but too hard to copy paste find yada yada from my phone(or I'm being lazy)

Drill a hole through the bolt and put a lock through it. It's just a deterrent.

Yup. If anyone REALLY wants to steal something from you, they're gonna get it, no matter what you do. locks and keys and all that just deter the petty criminals from attempting it.

 

Exactly! The harder you make it the less likely it is to happen but it can still happen.

 

cannot wait to see more. im building a rear cage up against the cab like that for my link set up. very smooth looking. ill get back to you in the next few days about those link pockets.

 

so it rained a little today and i noticed my king shocks had rust all over the bodies, my fault as i guess i sanded through all the coating they had on them....well i just got dont removing the rust and polishing them.......should i out something on them to keep them from rusting again? clear coat??
