will do. i got a new cover coming in the mail... so once i get it no more orange

the bulbs come out the back side. you have to take out the whole assembly. it's not hard at all once you have the dash all taken apart

nice! I was just looking into doing this today...what kind of leds did you find that fit the 01-04 panel with the little twist mount?

...and where did you find a clear panel without the orange tint?! from a 4runner?

When you say dash, you just mean the AC/stereo surround, right? That part is easy. I took it apart about 10 times a few weeks ago when I was installing my stereo and running wires for my amp. I guess I didn't look hard enough to see how that thing comes off.

Also want to know what bulbs you used. Im not as concerned about the cover because I want to go red to match the truck and a red bulb will look red behind orange anyways. and if im not satisfied ill just get the 4runner one anyways. but definitely share the info on what bulbs you used.

Am I the only one that has never gotten one of those slips of paper? Every place I've ever gone to get an alignment at doesn't have it on paper?

Haha I was just thinking the same. I've never really been interested in seeing one until my current truck, but I've always wondered.

this is the AC panel i ordered. haven't gotten it in the mail yet so i would suggest holding off on buying it until i can let you know if it's legit or shit...

    http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/NUIAC243.htm

picked up all my LED bulbs from superbrightled.com got LED for my licence plate, corners, and blinkers too

    AC panel lights (4mm option)

    http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...led-bulb-high-power-instrument-panel-led/221/

tranny shifter and ash tray lights

    http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/wedge-bulbs/74-led-bulb-3-smd-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/228/

    speedo/dash gauge lights

    http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/wedge-bulbs/194-led-bulb-5-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/199/

as for replacing the LEDs on the AC controls it's cake. get the cover paneling off and it's 3 screws and dis-connect 2 wire things to take out the unit. then it's 3 screws and 3 clips on the backside and you're good to go.
