continuing radio issues

my truck has 18000 on it an I had the radio replaced last year. now when ever i try to skip a song on a cd. it jumps from track 1 straight to 9 to 12 to 3 an damn near every song but the ones i want. is there a tsb for this? anyone else having the same issues?

 

I've had three radios and they've all failed in some way. I'm over it and sick of wasting time at the dealer so I've reluctantly decided to go aftermarket. Hopefully you won't have the same experience. According to my dealer, all of the replacement radios are refurbs.

 

what one did you go with?

 

I haven't decided but it'll likely be a Pioneer model. I need to research a bit more.

 

Go Aftermarket. I bought a Kenwood touchscreen from BB and dash kit w/harness from Amazon for under $400 and wired myself. Looks like a '12 when it's only a '07 functions, looks, and sounds great!

 

do the steering wheel controls still work w it?
