A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
All of the dealers very well have sold out the "S" series already and the "X" could be all that is out there now. I wish I had known at the time, now I need spacers.

That's good right? X are the new ones that don't sag.

I'm fairly certain I got the "S" series 886s, because I mounted the plate bumper and skid and the front dropped down ~3/4"-1". :pout:

You so don't want to see that on your own rig, it's depressing. Just get the newer springs, that's all that matters.

Put the 5mm OME trim packer at the bottom for taco lean , this allows you to add 1/4" top plate spacers at a later date using the stock studs if you choose to

some have said that the way you can tell is there is a tag wrapped on the sping that says what you have so assuming you dont have that tag then yeah id be certain youd have the ''s'' springs. all i need is the 885x springs being that they are recommended for a double cab and I'm not adding any front weight to my truck other than an avid light bar which isnt even close to being heavy enough to make the springs sag at all

The have a tag on the coils but OME switched ALL the coils ( 884,5,6 ) to the "x" spec in 2010 I believe

That person at Toytec is incorrect unless they carry 3 year old stock

I got mine from Toytec 2 weeks ago and they were 886x. At least according to the sticker on the springs.

so you think they person i talked to gave me wrong information? should i take a risk and still order from there? toytec is the closest place to order from that would keep the shipping and handling price down... since i live in New Mexico and they are located in colorado...

You said "she". That could be the problem in communication. "She" may just work the desk and have no idea there even is a difference.

Oh yeah, first sexist dig of the day!

I bought the complete kit just now from headstrong off road. OME complete kit with trim packer, carrier bearing drop and dakars I also bought LR UCAs. no tax and no shipping cost to my door at $1,515.98 where as that whole package from toytec minus a trim packer, and carrier bearing drop shipping would have been $1,705 . The kit from wheelers off road would of been $1,550 not including shipping! So I got a really good deal from Headstrong!

yes but they don't have LR UCAs and I didnt want to buy from DSM then have to go to another company and buy UCAs, I thought it was easier just to buy them all at once from one company...
