    ...too much shit to list.

There's a simpler method than the slide hammer. Stuff wet paper into the hole to fill the cavity and insert a perfectly sized socket into the hole. Smack it with a hammer and you're done. I had to refill it with more wet paper mid way through. You can also use grease...but it's messier.

Hmm... I'm thinking change the fuel filter, change the spark plugs, run some seafoam through it, and check your air filter. That's all can think of right now. Is there a check engine light on?

Nope no check engine light, I changed the air filter 2 weeks ago to a k&n drop in air filter, I also changed the front, rear diff fluids and the trans case fluids 2 weeks ago. What about the thermostat?

At 130,000 miles, if the thermostat, timing belt, and water pump haven't been changed I'd do those.

They won't necessarily help mpg's, but it's recommended that you get it done at 90,000 miles...

I'd look at changing your plugs and fuel filter. Also maybe your catalytic converters are clogged....

Put my craigslist All Pro bumper on. Previous owner must have had a real hard recovery, as the bumper was bowed out so that the mounting plates had an approximately 3/4" difference from the rear part of the mounting arms to the part closer to the front of the truck. A little ghetto ingenuity, and all back to normal.

Two bottle jacks, some 2x4's, the post for my dock piers, and duct tape...

    22-23 mpg with a 5-speed.

Drive with a light foot and don't go over 60-65 mph on the highway.

13mpg is so low that it seems like something is wrong... or ain't right.

Lost track many, many mods ago.
Forgot to take a picture of this the other day but I cleaned up all the leads going to my positive terminal. I got tired of having half a dozen wires running to the positive post. So I borrowed TacoSkeet's "organizational" method and added a terminal block with 8 available posts. I only used 4 because I wanted to keep my amp hooked directly to the battery. Here is the end result:

    DSC_0285_zps66d6504b_360a1078da7b11bb3e61f9dfc13ed6eca1a851c3.jpg

And a close up shot. Wiring this thing was pretty simple and I love the result.

Also, today, I finally got around to mounting my factory skid plate back on the truck. Took some creative thinking and some finagling but at the end of the day... I have my factory skid back on the truck.

If I were in your shoes I'd be yanking everything I could off the extra cab and use as much as I could on the DC. the DC is so much more versatile IMO.

Browsing craigslist just now and found some FJ wheels for sale. Does that look like a fair price for a set of four? And any idea on what the BS is? I might pick them up and paint them black if they will fit alright.
