Well after four glorious years of owning 2 Tacomas I decided it was time to change it up. I wasn't going offroading much at all, and rarely carried my bike or other stuff in the bed so it was time to step up to an SUV since my primary purpose was towing. I love my Tacoma and they were uber reliable and will be missed.

The new whip will be bring some new excitement more in the realms of my everyday usage and will tow like a sun of a gun!

Thanks for all the advice here, I was often a lurker and never really needed to post because I was able to find my answers. This is an awesome community.

Not a fan of the Jeep... Good luck though. The SRT models are pretty fast.

More pics of the X on the trailer? One of my favorite cars out there. Can be soo fast...

The X is my primary love. I try to compete all over the state in Autocross and doing track days.
The SRT wasn't that bad because my Taco had an excellent resale. A lot of my friends wanted it but no one wanted to pay. I just wish I had more opportunities to go off roading in it because it was a beast on the few trails I got it on.

    this is for you Khaos

The Jeep SRT has a towing capacity of 5000 lb, down from the Taco's 6500 lb. How heavy is the two-axle trailer?

The 14's have an increase tow capacity of 7200, plus the added pulling power from a bigger motor. I know it isn't the conventional choice, but I have always like the SRT line up and the opportunity presented itself and I went for it.

Yeah the suspension has been changed out since that photo. Much flatter and no three wheeling. As for the rims they are Rota's, i know i know...but those are my all season wheels. I have a set of forgestars i race with now.

Nice new ride. Don't let the fan boys get to you. Any side shots of the new ride? interior? I have no use for an suv, but that Jeep looks sharp.

Not hating on personal taste, but why does the 14' Jeep have such a low lower valence? Looks like a big giant car in that picture. Current vehicle styling is hitting a lull in my book.

Sorry you had to get rid of the Tacoma

Thanks. Yeah that front valence is low because no part of this jeep is made for off road...lol. It is more about on road performance for a fat car.
I understand everyone has different tastes, so no worries there. I still love Tacos, and my last deployment before my 2nd gen, all i could do was fantasize about how when I returned I was going to get a 2nd gen taco and nothing was going to stop. Now i got the urge for a SUV because I wasn't using my taco to its full extent. I just love cars and i figure i get one life to live so why not enjoy what I can when I can.

no interior shots yet, but i do have one profile view.
