I got in touch with the Administrator of t4r.org and he e-mailed Troy and his wife. His wife replied to the admin's email with the following:

I agree completely. At this point I don't have any sympathy for Troy and whatever comes of this is his own doing. A little bit of communication will go a long way and he failed at the easiest part of conducting business... talking to his customers.

 

Especially because he said he got the lights 2 weeks ago

 

Especially since he started generating tracking numbers and misled customers into thinking that the product was actually on the way.

 

As far as the list of the particularly frustrated customers, I'm thinking that list needs to include everyone at this point.

 

Yeah, that whole tracking number thing really put me over the edge. Under promise and over deliver has always been the golden rule of business.

 

Ha so he said he had the lights a week or two ago and his wife just threw him under the bus saying they just came in tonight. That's ridiculous lol.

 

Regarding the "particularly frustrated customers", It should be shipped from the top of the list down, that would be the honest way to do it, first paid, first to receive a light. Sure hope she is will to ship them. Keep our fingers crossed.

 

This is the point where the story starts stretching at the seams, revealing the reality.

Well, im happy that we got somewhere today. even if we still have no word from troy himself. I would prefer getting my light instead of going through refunding

Did anybody even think that maybe Mrs. Troy could be playing the same game? IDK..... But at this point I still just want my lights

 

I would think that if Mrs. Troy was playing the same game that she would have given the same story Troy had given and not let out that the lights just came in.

I am the same way. I would prefer my product, but i can't wait any longer. If this comes through, i will call off the refunding process, however, I am going to keep it going until i have lights at my door.
