    I thought that was Bakersfield?

A lot of folks consider anything North of the Grapevine NorCal. Our state is just to damn long :)

I think you're pretty much set with what you have right now. Once I get a rear bumper ill take a break and decide where I'm heading. Actually I may get headers and then stop.

Thanks, drove it in to work today, seems like a little more body roll, but defintely drivable. Maybe it will articulate more off-road?

    Yea I know...I guess I mean take a break from modding :p

Forgot, I wanted a winch also. So rear bumper, winch and headers. After that ill take a break from modding the truck.

Yea it's nothing too crazy without the sway bar. The articulation really depends. I never noticed, but I had heavier springs than normal to compensate for a front bumper I didn't have on the truck yet.

Looks like TC is coming out with a new, upgraded LCA for 05+ taco's. I think it's only for the stock length and not LT lca's though.

If I'm getting any replacement LCAs, ill be going LT. It's too pricey just for stock length.

There is sooooooooooooooo much more to LT than just UCA's and LCA's. Stock length lowers have their place, especially if you don't have anywhere to take advantage of LT.

LSK makes stock length lowers as well at a fraction of the cost of TC.

The LSK's are $1199 and the TC's are $1599. There is a guy in so cal selling a stock used TC lca for 1080 or something.

If you buy the TC 2.5" kit you would still need their $500 extended axles as well as new long travel coilovers, right? Then a secondary shock as well. I tried to calculate what it would cost me and once the total went over $5000 I wiped away a tear and stopped looking into it.

Yup. All true. But it doesn't stop there. Gusset gusset gusset gusset. And then once you have this badass front setup, still can't use it without doing the rear. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I have spindle gussets and cam tab gussets (yes, you already told me they're a waste) and would get the coil gussets if I ever get the TC kit. The rear I don't think I'd ever have up to par since I really am trying to avoid turning my bed into a cage with shocks and spares mounted. I'd rather do what that guy in midtravel bs thread did and have the hoops and shocks tucked up high with only a small portion of the bed cut on each side. That I don't mind.

Blue dome light LED and white map light LEDs look pretty cool :)

Why the heck did Toyota make the map lights such a pain to replace though? :p
