Do they sell other synthetic oil brands where you are? M1 is a good oil but so are others like Pennzoil Platinum, for example. Honestly, I'd go with what's readily available to you.

To you argumentative types (come on, we all know I don't like to argue): I am NOT trying to turn this into a brand vs brand or dino vs synthetic debate. I'm simply trying to offer other options.

not to many, love it the way it is
since you have to pay shipping for the oil on the internet you might as well get it from your toyota dealer, it could be cheaper that way

you could get a toyota oil filter also with the oil

Mobil1 is great, but you don't have to worry with any of the premium brand synthetics. I use mobil1 because my local parts stores runs specials on it every once in a while

I'm sure people will come on here and tell you that it does not really matter what kind of oil you use as long as you keep it along with the oil filter changed regularly.

If you can get Castrol synthetic locally, go with that. Unless you can get a better deal (shipping included) on Mobil 1 or the like (which I doubt). Don't get me started on the oil brand debate... Just change it when the light comes goes steady (5000 miles) and you are good to go.

I know that it's not over the Internet, but I got a deal on M1 the other day. I'm a member at Costco, and they sent out coupons for M1. $10 off per case with a limit of 3 cases, so got them for $24 a case.

    Costco finally paid off.

I've used all three and they've all been great... I use M1 as Redline and Amsoil would be online only for me now! Like many have said try to go with a synthetic that's readily available.
