Do they come with some sort of template or something to put them on with? Or do you just have to measure/ eyeball it.

I will be in a parking lot measureing some trucks when they get here. Either it will work out or I will get a black eye

 

I've had issues getting it aligned since they got flattened . My truck can take off ramps by itself right now . I'm going for a alignment today if I have time before work . I will take a few pics for you .

 

I havent been out yet, I am going to head out tomorrow morning. If all goes well, I will go wheeling, but I am not sure since I will be hunting in Glocester and its probably not a good idea to go wheeling with a shotgun in my truck.

That is going to look awesome. Did you get them from SockMonkey or RuggedT?

I ordered these from RuggedT, but now an rethinking the design. I wish I had him put "Toyota Racing Development" at the top with the shadow around TRD.

Some techs will tell you that they can't but it's BS. They have to 'anchor' one of the 4 alignment bolts and work their way around the truck from there to square everything up. Once the alignment bolts are loose, you don't need the dog ears to move the bolts, a simple tug will do the trick.

The dog ears give the alignment tech something to pry against so they can adjust that point. They do not hold the bolt while tightening, you have to have a wrench on the bolt and the nut to tighten. The dog ears really don't do anything besides make the alignment adjustment easier.

Use a weak dish soap solution so the decal will slide before it sticks and squeegee out the water. Also, use blue painter tape for alignment.

 

I wanna get a bandaid vinyl sticker from RuggedT that says TRD: Traildamage Recovery Division. Gonna put that over my crunched quarter panel.
