I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
From what I've seen the wire feed drive system is different unless they have changed it, the Hobart is aluminum and plastic, and the Miller is all aluminum. It's not going to matter to most.

Yep I run a 90%/10% on my machines and to get good pen the power is cranked up quite a bit higher then what's recommended. I run .120 wall HREW at 19.7V to 20.2v with a 300 to 325ipm wire speed and 17.4V and a 230ipm speed is recommended.

You are correct. The Hobart units use plastics in those areas where the Miller uses alum. The components I was talking about are the things like the rectifier, transformer, fan motor, etc. the guts of the welder.

But the guts are usually not what shits the bed :). It's stuff like the wire feed mechanism.

I've been using my Hobart for years and nothing has shit the bed yet. And when it does I can just replace it with the miller parts

True. But if you make your living, as Jerry does, welding then you want the most reliable machine.

For you and I, not such a big deal.

I have a Hobart too and that works great for me. But with that said also I have a Millermatic 35 from 1973ish that still works, archaic but it works

not bad, you should try hitting that rust with a wire wheel first, it'll clean those welds right up.

Relocated the shocks and added some support, rides way nice now with the expo packs, not rough at all and corners way better.

since I Put The Bed Back On I Haven't Had Any Weight In It And Have Been Impressed With The Ride Comfort. I Usually Have A Camper But I'm Waiting To Put It On After I spray In My Bed Liner. Before I Did The Relocation I Had A Few Hundred Pounds And It Drove Great.

Please Excuse My Phone For Automatically Capitalizing Every Fucking word.

    LOL.

I was just wondering because I have 2 spares in my bed and my truck is stiff as hell. Almost no travel over speed bumps and barely any flex. I also have stupid amounts of lift as well.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I had that exact same problem in my 95, but expected it because I was running Drakars 2nd hand set up for a 4 Runner. OME recommend pulling a couple of the leafs out but I couldn't remember which ones.

I was thinking about either pulling the 4th leaf out and seeing where it goes from there, or just trading/buy the standard pack from AP. Maybe get deavers if the price is right and they aren't sagged out.

That could be it. More weight. Wish I was a double cab :(

Hey guys I have a question about gas for welding.

My roommate has a millermatic 135 I believe, and he just got the tank filled with what he said was 100% argon. I was under the impression you need a mixture of argon and co2. We've played with the welder some (neither of us are very experienced) and we have been able to do some "welding" (or atleast make sparks and shit lol).

I'm just wondering if we're using the wrong gas? I have no clue what kind of wire were using either.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
100% argon is for Tig or Aluminum Mig you need a mix or 100% C02 for steel Mig.
