    Hit the back of the pan with a hammer. The vibrations might be enough to break the bond between the teflon and the bondo. If not, hit the bondo directly with the hammer to crack it and see if you can get it out in chunks.

    As for the little pieces left in the pan, maybe rubbing compound? No matter what I wouldn't recommend eating anything cooked in the chemical remnants left over from this whole debacle. :p

    Even if you manage to get the Bondo off of the pan you can't cook on it again. There will always be a little Residue on the pan and you DO NOT want that in your food.

    Oh wait -- it's copper? Find a way to secure the bondo to something immobile and place a doughnut about 2 feet away from the pan. I'm pretty sure the natural copper-to-doughnut attraction will be sufficiently powerful to break the bond.

    Alright, fuckers....It seems that putting the pan on the stove on "Simmer" has helped to bake the Bondo off... So far, so good.
    Mjp2....That was the funniest thing I have hear today!! :)

    FWIW, Im not useing gasoline at all...Given my luck today, I would be burned to a crisp....and killed.....I dont want that...Yet.


    NOW....WTF do you nean, I/we, cant use this thing to cook on anymore???? Julie WILL KILL me if this is the case!? Should I proceed with the "exchange" plan?

    Julie will not see the funny in haveing a "Made-in-France-nothing-but-Bondo-sticks-in-it" pan, if it cant be used for cooking.....

    You will always have some Bondo residue on the pan. No matter what you do. That stuff is bad news in your system. cooking in it will only make the matter worse.
    Find the warranty for the pan and figure out a way to have it fail without looking like you did it, then take it back, hopefully the store will not ask too many questions.

    If there is discoloration in the pan, tell them you were cooking something in it (don't mention Bondo) and you don't like the discoloration. That might work.
