Same as floors really, if they are heavy you will need to use spacers. The only time shower walls get tricky is if you have recessed shelves or crazy stuff like that. I have even tiled ceilings before, its pretty amazing how much suction you can create with mortar and a notched trowel

I just have a small area to do as a backsplash behind my stove and will likely use a small mosaic tile. Doesn't look too hard. Youtube taught me to tile floors, I was planning on going back to figure out how to tile walls also :D

Me but I wasn't there :( Between burning and clearing the limbs that fell last winter, starting the pool opening, and the general shitshow of my father in law there is no way I was leaving the house..

Its pretty much the same thing. Mosiacs can be a pain to cut, break out the dremel for those, especially if it has glass tile. Use a grout float to press the matts in, if you try to press them into the mortar with your hands you will end up pressing some in to much, they wont flush out and to mortar will fill up the grout lines, thats no fun when that happens.

Like Evan said, same basic idea as a floor. Not sure if you saw my Jacuzzi but I did the tiling on the wall and sides of it..I have a nice wet tile saw that you can use when you get to doing it.

Good advice on using a grout float, thanks! No glass in the mosaic, I've heard they are a bitch to cut so I specifically avoided them.

Thanks! I have a wet saw already in the basement on loan from my old man.

Did anybody see the moon tonight? I just got home from picking up Joshua and at 10:25 the moon was this really cool huge orange ball, just over the horizon. Pretty cool.

So I broke my sun roof cover (the sliding piece of the headliner), messed up my alignment, and my spare and tool bag flew around the back, pushing my reverse light mount through my headliner... god damn!

I didn't do an alignment after my front end work. On my way today my wheel was cocked. Now it's dead perfect lmao
