    brady, on a somewhat related note...

    Your build is called the Chrome Krawler...Krawler being the focal point.
    You spend your money on full armor, a re gear and dual lockers. If you had spent all that on suspension then you would probably have a great MT set up...but you didnt. You created a pig. so use your truck like you built it haha. done.

    It worked great. Walked right up the hill. Even did it with the gay ass traction control thy actually makes it harder lol. The first reverse try I didn't have much of a running. It was fun stuff. Just playing around really.

    We do lots of heavy weight lifting. You shouldn't think of crossfit as just simple movements and lots of reps. It's not always that.

    I LOVE cleans. One of my best lifts.

    Fun to do as well.

    I'm finally got good at squat cleans. Have always been good at power cleans but hopefully ill get 300 on my next 1rm for squat clean.

    I only had the locker engaged for the reverse run. We were making it farther up the hill in reverse than that nissan was making it going forward. haha

    When I get my bumpers painted, I'm going to update my build thread and change the name to the "Flying Crawler" since there is hardly any chrome left, or will be hardly any left after this summer anyway.

    I am working on getting an LT rear setup:D and I don't think I can get anymore travel up front without going LT. When Ben and I had the front end tore apart it appeared that my UCA and shock have more travel than the LCA (so I was wrong before). So even if I got longer shocks and better UCA's I wouldn't gain anymore droop and up travel is basically maxed too. My tires hit the tops of my wheel wells. Hell my UCA's damn near hit the tops of my wheelwells.
    Yeah if you had gotten as much of a run as I had in reverse you would have made it easy. Your back end is a lot heavier than mine.

    well ya your travel is fine...its the valving and the spring rate of the shocks that makes that shit do able. Its all in the shocks. Extended arms dont do you any good on stock struts

    Until you go to one..can't talk man. It's actually super intense. Way fun to go to the events. Plus that is from the actual games. It was like 4-5th event outa like 9 workouts over 3-4 days. Super intense. Very high energy. Kinda something you also have to partake in to full appreciate too.

    But I have gone to 3 competitions now and they are way way fun!

    its a bunch of people...watching other people lift weights. Just from the premise of it, sounds pretty ridiculous. And before you compare it to the Olympics...the olympics is so cool for a totally different reason.


    think they all practice their exertion face in a mirror? Cuz they all looked pretty straight face doing those heavy lifts, I know I and many people around me at the gym look pretty ridiculous when it gets strenuous.

    I looked into shocks/coilovers but don't see the point in upgrading yet. I don't see the point in dropping $800-$1200 on some coilovers up front that I will just have to replace when I go LT. My ride height isn't bad and the valving is good enough for me right now. I may change my mind when I LT the rear and then the front can't keep up though.

    In the rear I don't think any amount of valving would help me. I just seriously lack travel so again I might as well wait until I go LT to get some bypasses for back there.

    :rolleyes: because upgrading shocks makes everything go from fucking atrocious to being do able (relatively of course) at least in the front.
