I took nearly 200 pounds of sandbags out of the bed. Took of a bad gas shock for my shell, and plugged my ultra gauge back in. Washing is in order for later if I have time.

 

So if u go off roading

 

Washed it yesterday, and waxed it today with some Turtle Wax Black Box wax. Sprayed some detailer spray on one of my bedlined fender flares and it took off some of the bedliner, so now I've got do redo the back passenger side again. It's not too bad though, just near the bottom,

 

So if u go off roading or whatever just put the cap on that's cool

 

Yup, very slight gains in horsepower and mpg's too.

 

May do this next weekend what all do I need

 

Deckplate, sensor safe sealant, screws and a sawsall.

 

4" deck plate
sealent
hole saw or reciprocating saw

 

Off topic question.

I had a 5 gallon jerry can (plastic) with about 1 gallon of gasoline in it (for about 10 years). Gave it to my buddy who is going to clean parts with it or run it in his lawnmower.

At the bottom of the can there are a bunch of black specs of dirt (?) or something. Can I spray the can out as best I can with water to get that schmeg out of there?

Of course I'd let it fully dry before putting gasoline in it.

Where can I get the deck plate
Can I use this as sealant

 

If you do id make sure it was dried completely before you drive it, any boat or marine shop will have them.

 

Ok yea I would do it on a weekend

 

Pretty sure you're good to go. It says it's sensor safe.
