Personally I hate them. After running on the ranch roads for one hunting season they look like crap. I agreed on price on a new one and then told dealer to flip tires. I am getting the BFG ATs from factory and do not want to look at those things for 3 years.

Not. The letters get grey and nasty in a few years.

Not. They were great in the late 1970's when they were new, but now? Meh.

I like white letters out if they are bfg's or I like to see the red letters out for general grabbers, but otherwise doesn't matter to me if they are true black-walls. I understand white letters can get crappy but all it takes is one of those stiff tire brushes and some car wash soap and they are back to 90% white.

What really looks stupid is when you don't have true black-wall tires and can see the white letters pointed to the inside.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I went with black because it would be out of place with my black truck. I think truck color has a lot to do with it, white out on lighter colors looks pretty good (see above posts^).

Hmm, I actually like the white out lettering with my black truck, it seems to flow well with the lettering of my splash guards and TRD decal...maybe it's just a 1st gen thing...

A little of this and a little of that.
    Out, but keep them clean.

Just get all black wall tires if you don't want white letters. No flipping white letters to the inside.

I have 1600 miles with white letters out, 3400 left until they get flipped in. Personally I think they look better with white letters not showing. They get scraped on curbs and need to be kept up.

White out, IMO looks good. Especially with black rims.

Out! I'm an old school muscle car fan. Maybe that's where it comes from, but almost every truck or the like I've owned, OUT. Even though I catch flack, no biggie. :p

I like white letters! Never had a set turn grey. They get dirty, sure. Wash your truck! I use A to Z wheel and tire cleaner and a simple scrub brush across the white letters. Easy. Then hit 'em with a little Stoners More Shine less Time tire dressing and your're GTG! Though, it's comes down to personal pref. Black tires (clean ones) look good too.
