Steel purchased for a better bumper mounting method, the elites getting cut up. its nice, but mounting sucks utilizing the stock locations. ive crushed the frame.

also got some 3/16 plate with 1/2x1/2x1/8 angle for ribs to make a skid from bumper to back of tcase.

gotta get ready to run predator, and lower/upper terminator by table mesa. crown king this weekend too.

so, cut off some more frame end, and cut that 2x3x3/16 box and end capped it/cross member, then capped that off with some plate that wraps around the side of the frame, cut up the bumper, cut off the shitty mounts, and reattached using 4" grade 8 hardware and stovers, going to attach the skid plate to these bolts which will stop it from tweaking any more, also cut off the stock core support mounts as those were toast. just 45'd some box and boom, new mounts.

all in all it moved the bumper up about 3/4", and in about 3/4" had to weld the core support mounts a little higher, but all in all, it worked out GREAT.

approach angles should be much better, finally.

Negative, no signs of leaking and fresh shift fork boot couple months back so its fine for now. Master was leaking, well, was wet around firewall. Not leaking so much. Been chasing spoungy clutch and loosing fluid since I bought the truck. Finally began loosing enough fluid to find problem and correct.

truck threw a iac error code until it warmed up no matter how many times i cleared it. going to order a gasket and clean the iac and see what that does.

picked up a new climate contro lmodule tonight with cables. old cables are sticky and module has worn teeth.

also i cleaned it and waxed/polished some of it.

    nothing else exciting.

Disassembled IAC completely and cleaned built up carbon from valve. Tension spring has minimal springiness but appears OK. Also seafoamed into throttle body.

Ran better but need to reset computer.

    Ugh.

New climate control module is cleaned. Cables are a little rough.

Ordered a 100k mile steering rack from cali. $170 bucks vs the ~550 before core of ac delco, and almost 650 reman before core from toyota.

ill be ordering the rebuild kit, mainly guides and seals to rebuild if newer one shows wear, otherwise current one will be rebuilt eventually.

ordered moog inner and outter tie rod ends, a denso coil, denso wires, 6x denso iridium plugs, throttle body gasket, and iac gasket.

going to do that, a presurized flush of coolant, an injector cleaning, and perhaps a few other things too. this thing needs to get running right.

Also in the works, swap to the 95.5-97 style front, grill and lights.
