Take some bleach and a brush and you can clean the white letters back to white. I used to do it all the time with my last set of A/Ts after mudding and whatnot. Just be careful not to get it on the rest of the rubber.

white letters look good on some cars/trucks. I just don't like them turned in...if you want the blackwall look...get blackwall tires.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
In on trucks, but on some cars like muscle cars it looks good. Something about a GTO or something with white lettered Firestone tires...Just flows with the car.

Do what you like. I like white out if the right tire. Don't like seeing white letters on the inside.

When I bought my tires, before mounting I blacked out the white letters, then when I took the tires to the tire shop, I told the guy mount the tires with the white letter side on the inside. He said, there is no white letter side? I told him to look closely, and showed him what I did...:D

I don't like the white letters inside or out! :D

I was going to ask who looks at the inside of tires? Apparently someone does but it is not me. If I was real concerned about the insides I would just crawl under truck and hit with some black paint. Places I drive they will not be white for long.

I like white letters out on a 17" wheel or smaller with more tire sidewall, But with an 18" wheel or larger with less tire sidewall I like white in.

I like em OUT, but I must admit, I am considering a set of Toyo AT2 and the type of "hollowed out" white letters they have does not thrill me.

Back in the late 60's and early 70's the thought was to only have white letters out if you had a dark centered wheel or a dark wheel.

I was told this as a kid by my uncle who had a COPO, YENKO and a split window vette among other street rods or racers as they were to them in the days. Everything he told me about cars stick to this day.
