I took the topper off for the second time ever... first time in over 8 years.

It looks so weird to me... like a backwards circumcision or something.

    Thanks!

Too early to provide a thorough review but it's working great so far. I think the 4k res is pointless to a certain extent because nobody has a 4k res TV that will truly appreciate the capabilities, to scale the size down to fit within your screen is to reduce the resolution anyway to whatever your screen is capable of and the file size is enormous at 4k res and yes battery life sucks.. I stick with 720p 120framerate so I can slow frames down. I plan on using it on my compound bow.

New 275/70/16 BFG A/T's and re-did the dash lighting to LED blue lights. Also did the head lamps to LED whites and put in a new touch screen head unit (no pics yet :( )

The only problem with the LED head lamps is that they flicker very faintly unless the car is on and then they're fully lit...so that was a waste.

    Me?

The topper's clear coat was peeling so I brought it back to the place where it was bought. They're sending it back to Astro to get repainted. They're also going to replace the broken dome light in the topper with a new LED one free of charge. They're going to reseal the entire topper and bed rails (I told them it leaks in the corners) free of charge, and they're also going to replace my bug/rock shield free of charge because it's cracked.

Side note: Suburban Toppers in Denver is awesome. It's why I always do business with them and refer everyone to them. I bought the topper off a guy who wrecked his Tacoma (rear ended someone) less than 2 weeks after purchasing the topper from Suburban Toppers. The two of us spoke to the guys there and said I was going to buy it. Normally their, and the manufacturer's, lifetime warranty only applies to the original owner, but they somehow transferred it to me under these special circumstances.

    $Free.99

    Best price there is.

I honestly wouldn't investigate getting it repainted if it wasn't free/under warranty.

My only concern is they're going to repaint it with new/fresh paint while my truck's paint is 15 years old. Hopefully it's a good enough match. :notsure:

Installation wasn't that bad. The worst part was removing the old crush cans. Actually putting the new stuff on was pretty easy. I got a ton of bolts left over. But I think that's because I didn't install a winch. The front of my truck deffinitly sags like an old ladies boobs. Ome suspension will be installed on thursday.

We've got to finish a handful of welds then grind all the exterior welds down, prime, and paint!

Depending on how it looks when it's finished, maybe you should cut the parts up and sell unwelded kits to people....
