    Beefed Taco 3" Lowering Blocks DJM 3" Front Lowering Kit Custom C-Notch Intermittent Wipers LED tail lights
    I don't recall anyone making drop spindles for the first generation either. I had the DJM kit on my 2001 Tacoma and it lasted for the 12+ years I had the truck, so I'd say you can't go wrong with that kit (other than the paint will flake off). The DJM kit includes a new upper control arm and would actually be less work to install than spindles. Bryan from StreeTacos.com (BeefedTaco) has a thread in this forum talking about getting the same drop as the DJM kit w/o the DJM kit, so that's another option I guess.

    So if I run the DJM kit with belltech 2" drop springs i'm looking at 4 to 5 inches of drop in the front?

    I think that would be a waste of your time. The DJM coating just flakes off the metal and and I doubt that painting over the DJM coating would stop that.
    I guess so. Note that with the DJM kit, my truck had 6" clearence at it's highest point. If you do both (and that somehow works), you'll be looking at a 4" clearance max. I'd be willing to bet that a bloated roadkill squirrel is taller than 4" :eek:

    I need to figure out how to do my license plate like the Superwhite in the top pick, I was just pulled over not to long ago for not having one up front. No ticket though :woot:
