Morning! Finished vid at 2 a.m., took longer than expected. It is uploading now. I thought I had more coverage of everybody but it looks like I left a lot of people out, sorry. I finalized it before doing QC and I'm sure you'll all notice that I missed some names. I'll put up link as soon as it's done.

I asked him that. If I had them media blasted, he would knock off $150 but said they would still need to be primed using their primer.

Is that all their primer is, just a self etching? Bastards! Oh well... I'll keep coating them with the Rustoleum, eventually it'll get built up thick enough to where the chipping will stop.

    Maybe...

The primer I used is awesome and none of the chips have taken the primer off. The bedliner I used seems to be chipping off easily though. I'm surprised because my NFab bar up front is holding up well and so is my lower valance which were both coated with the same bedliner. I was hoping that since I still have the mud flaps in place, the rock chips wouldn't be bad but I was mistaken.

I was planning on using that rubberized undercoating stuff on the underside of my filler plates when I take them off this summer.

dont use the rubberized undercoating, its worse, and expensive (at like $14/can). I recently used rustoleum's "bed armor" bedliner. and its seems to have held up the best fo far, but it still chips away on the small cross bars. i thought about getting some grip tape and wrapping the crossbars in it. i'm kind of losing faith in bedliner to be honest... from now on, when i see a CL ad with a jeep that has a tub thats been bed-lined, this is what i'll be thinking :jerkoff:

I gotta say so far (less than a week) I'm very happy with the Line-X, at least it looks good for now.

I wasn't at all impressed with the rhino lining that the auto body shop sprayed in my bed when my truck was repaired. They were able to tint it to match, which was sweet, but I noticed that it wasn't as durable as other coatings I had seen.

We'll see how linex holds up on my sliders, skid, and bumper. I expect at some point in a couple years they'll all have to come off and get blasted back to bare steel and re-coated. It's really just an experiment to see how well the stuff holds up.

I'm not planning on doing the whole things in the rubberized stuff, just the undersides of the fill plates.

I've kicked around the idea of that Raptor Line stuff also. I've heard that crap is really tough! I need to recoat my light bar and will have to paint my rear bumper at some point. I'm surprised the bumper held up as well as it has. It's over 5 years old and still only minimal rust and I drilled a bunch of holes in it!
