Just got a custom ported sub box done for my double cab tacoma along with a amp rack fabricated by Certified Sounds Maui. Really great job, top quality. Extremely crisp highs and pounding bass.
    Head Unit - Pioneer AVH-P3400BH
Front Speakers - Alpine Type-R Component
Back Speakers - Alpine Type-R Coaxial
    Sub - Alpine Type-R 12" Shallow Mount
    Amps - Hifonics Zeus 1500.1
    Hifonics Zeus 600.4
(Only the 1500w amp is showing the 600w had to be hidden for room)

Look good man! How much air space did the box come out to be for this setup?

Anyone know how good those Hifonics amps are? Are they reliable, do they put out the power they say they do, provide clean power, etc.???

I actually do not remember. But it takes up the bigger side of where the compartments used to be and is ported. :D

I've been told they actually put out their advertised power rating. Sounds very clean to me especially the highs. No distortion at all

I've ran hifonics a lot back in the day and never had any issues with them. Just like any other amp company, they have their good and bad models that come out. All in all they are good equipment.
