    Did my first 4x4ing of the year yesterday, came damn close to getting stuck in muskeg. Definitely need some more aggressive tires before playing in mud. The sand trails today were fun, love that I can fit down quadding trails. Waiting on bushings to install my Dakars and may have my nFab steps sold to upgrade to real sliders.

    Wow! Mine was in the same condition, just not quite as advanced. I've used steel wool on the threads and got most of the rust off. I'm not real happy that this has happened so fast. I may try to get a new threaded rod in stainless and then epoxy the upper assembly together to waterproof the internal threads.

    Yeah, I just threw the stock one back on for the time being. Not really a clearance issue anymore since I have a 4' Firestik off the tailgate.

    Rather disappointed in how quickly it occurred. Not sure if it's also caused the corrosion to start on the outside of the antenna mount when viewed from the engine bay.

    I attempted the BHLM today with no luck. I actually did get up and get that bolt which is difficult. I then had the light loose only to realize that the light goes behind and below that small trim piece. I attempted to remove that trim piece and it would not budge not a ounce.
    So before I ripped it apart and lost my cool bc I screwed up my new truck I just threw in the towel.
    So no mods, just removed the mud flaps and a custom decal in the mail. :X

    265/75/16 load C duratracs with Fox MT kit cranked to just over 2.5" of lift in front and 2" in the back.
    Actually Krob, I wanted your look, but those anthracite FJC wheels are hard to come by these days.
