Thanks for all the positive feedback everybody. This is only the second time I've done this stuff. First time with the GoPro, so I'm stoked y'all enjoyed it.

So far I like it a lot. The battery goes quick but I got 2 aftermarket ones and a car charger, so it doesn't really matter for wheeling. I didn't realize with the wide angle how close you have to be with the camera. There was a lot of wasted footage with tiny little trucks very far away.

Im getting the suction cup mount and roll bar mount, i figured mounting it to my sliders or bed rack will be a cool shot. Looks like i should get an extra battery also. Just gatta decide on the black or silver edition

I had the roll bar mount sitting in the bag and never took it out, completely forgot about it.

Okay guys - need your help.

I've been having a 'clunk' noise the past few months that I'm just now trying to figure out. Whenever I go over a decent size pothole with the driver's front wheel I can feel and hear a clunk/bang. Almost like metal hitting metal. Nothing from the passenger side.

I can also hear it if I turn the wheel full passenger and then turn into a grade (like going from the road into the driveway).

I took the following video from underneath the drivers seat looking forward. I was running out of daylight so it's hard to see. What are your thoughts on the amount of play in the LCA rear chassis connection?

I don't believe it has anything to do with the sway bar. But I haven't ruled it out. Something I plan to do at some point. Thoughts?

Also, Jon! Awesome video! I love how in every shot I'm bouncing around and just screwing everything up. I'm a newb.

Rob, can you mount the go pro so you can see the LCA bushings from the top while you turn the wheel? Also, have you made sure your wheel bearings are good. Try tightening your LCA bolts to spec. When I had an alignment last time, they didn't tighten them enough and I had a clunk when turning. I agree with Cam though, looks like your LCA bushings are shot.

I can try and mount it from the top. How can I test for the wheel bearings? Can I assume the shop would have failed my state inspection for a bad wheel bearing? I will also try and tighten the LCA bolts again, I tried with a small wrench and it wouldn't budge. I'll use one that I can get better leverage on, any idea what the torque requirements are?

Edit: wheels don't rock back and forth when alternating pressure from top to bottom

    Hi Rob
I have the identical issue after this past weekend. I am replacing my lca and my tie rod end. I 100% think it is my lower ball joint because it looks like this.
Having replaced the needle bearing less then a month ago, I know it was not like. I also picked up moog tie rod end that have the grease fitting. I Paid $165 total with free 2 day shipping. (Amazon prime) replacing the LCA for $142 is not bad and comes with new bushings and lower ball joint.

Plan to replace it this weekend. I will let you know how it turns out.
