Hi Scott below is correct. Rob found that at rock auto. I put that part number into Amazon because I have prime and got it with 2 day shipping for $142
It is not Toyota and it scares me a bit. But I can buy the bushings and a moog lower ball joint and get it pressed in the old lca if I get nervous at the quality and still keep my DD for at least a week.

In the spirit of this past weekend: I know a lot of folks have been to Rausch and Denis has posted feedback and pics from all wheels in Maine but I know of acouple other spots close by and wondered if anyone had been to them and would be able to review--Rocky Mountain Terrain Park in Maine and Mettowee Off Road Park in New York. Supposedly there's a place called Wicked Hills in China Maine coming online this year too. Just wonderin..

Sorry, I didn't check back last night and I passed out early. A state inspection, if done by a decent mechanic, might find a bad wheel bearing but it's not something that's checked for. The only way they'd know is if they noticed play in the wheel if that's the wheel they removed to check the brakes. With the front end off the ground, you need to see if you can move the wheel without moving the whole truck. If you lift up on the wheel, you should be able to hear that slight grease suction sound which is the play that develops in a bad wheel bearing.

I believe the torque specs for the LCA is right at 100ft-lbs. When I had my clunk, they were tight with a normal wrench but took a bit more effort to get the torque wrench to click at 100 ft-lb.

If you end up going with a completel replacement LCA, most come with new bushings and a new ball joint so you don't have to mess with trying to press in new bushings.

i have these and they are awesome. Put them on with a jack take them off with a crowbar. They did recommend drilling in self tappers at the bottom to keep them from moving I never did. Despite my best efforts they didn't move on my I only ended up putting flat spots in the tube. if you don't know someone who welds for free or don't want to melt the paint off of the inside of your frame rails these are the best bolt ons going.:D
