Question about Pro Comp 8089

I have an 03 double can and want to put these wheels on my truck. 4wheelparts has them in 16x8 4.5" BS and a 0mm offset. I want to know if this wheel will clear the brake caliper on my truck. I've tried searching but most of the threads are for 2nd gens...

thought Jeeps had zero off set !?
purdy sure 1st gen Tacoma require some off set to clear the calipers.
This off set measurement could vary some,
dependent on the actual cone shape/depth of the wheels center chunk
and the form of that.
Some wheel center chunk designs are more forgiving then others.

my current wheels have -11 mm off set @ 4" BS
These have a specifically designed center chunk specification,
regarding the construction of the center chunk's design.
Designed specifically with the 1st gen Tacoma in mind.
With other wheel designs -11 mm may not clear the caliper.
So be sure to test fit the wheel before installing the tire.
That way they can be returned/exchanged unused.

If you stick with the factory 4.5" BS'ing
you could be limited tire size to no wider then 10.50"
* 4.0" BS'g allows for 10.50" width tires, as well 11.50" widths (285's/33's)

@ 4.5" BS - 11.50" width tires will nicely polish the frame at full steer. L/R lock.
As well, maybe rub the UCA slightly, especially if aired down.

I just want to get the right wheel the first time because I am going from stock to 3" lift wheels and 33's all at once so I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row so I don't have any set backs and I don't have to drive my truck around with a 3" lift and stock wheels and tires.

 

Those are the 8069's in that thread I'm talking about the 7089

edit: my bad I thought I read 8069, do you mean 8089 or 7089?

 

Yeah that's my fault but the 8089 and 7089 are the same wheel except one is all black and the other is black and polished....that 8069 is a completely different wheel then the ones I am asking about.
