It's very hot in the valley. Plus the fire in Newbury Park is not helping. Hopefully they can stop it before it burns more homes.

    My 100th post...woo hoo... lol

How many houses has it burned so far?
I haven't watched the news. Seen all the smoke the last 2 days from driving to and from work , my girlfriends mom lives in newbarry but on the other side of dos vientos.

So glad I'm in rincon today. And not stuck in the valley

according to the last news that I saw, 25 homes have been burned but over 1000 homes are in danger. FD forced some residents to evacuate already.

So far, over 4000 acres were burned.

Ha got my tax return back. Figured what better way to spend it than buy another gun or two.

Thinking of getting a ar since who knows if silly California will ban them or not and a glock 40 or 45

I already have a mini 14, shotgun, 30/30 hand full of 22's 1911, 30+06 so yea basics are covered other than a ar maybe a ar-10. Since I don't have anything that fires 308-762

I've looked in to both options. I'm just going to buy one completed. Don't want to take 6 months to build one trying to get all the parts so much shit is back ordered

Went to Turner's in Oxnard and shooters paridice yesterday. Del tron 799. Dpms 699 s&w mp 999 sigs start at 1500. So a little more than I want to spend.

I have a friend who owns pawn shops. And he's got a JD machine he wants me to look at. Didn't give me a price. Said I can have it for what he payed for it, he's also got some glocks I want one just simply for the fact you can get a 22 conversion for them. So its like haveing 2 guns in 1

Regardless it will be chambered in 556. 556 is more common right now than 223. I picked up 200 rounds of it yesterday for 80 bucks.

Wish ar-10 was more common. I've seen a lot of 762 rounds lattly and I don't have anything shoots that

Yeah building one takes a while but finding one complete would be the best.
