So sorry to disappoint everyone but I ended up getting a jeep and a car. Basically with my saved money I bought a stock 2001 Cherokee classic lifted it 3" with skyjacker sprigs leafs and control arms and now she's sitting on 31x10.5" km2s. Then I sold my f150 and used that money to buy a 93 dodge stealth twin turbo. It's pretty damn nice awd aws. Tt. Jeep has 104k on it stealth has 117k on it. All together I put $1900 to buy the jeep (mods not included) and $3000 on the stealth. Sold my f150 for $3000. So basically even tho I really wanted a taco it was just too far out of budget. $10k+ for what I wanted vs $4900 for what I got. What do u guys think (least amount of biased possible)

What he said ,, and the 2 k for school.

I was in your shoes and couldnt wait on a few things, sucks when you cant even afford gas for your vehicle. I learned quick and stopped blowing money, worked my ass off while my buddies had fun . I didnt go in debt unless it was to make money.

Now I can buy whatever I want, just bought a used taco. I could buy new if I wanted but I love these older toys. Make smart choices and you can have what ever you want. You wont live forever so there has to be a balance or you miss out on too much, most want it all now which means you wont have much later.

I hope it works out good for you. When I was your age nobody could tell me anything. What worked for me might not work for others.

Good luck and hope life treats you good.

I'm gonna agree with what others said.. Take your time don't jump the gun. IMO you'll be happier if you save your money, keep driving the f150, then a few years down the road, take your time looking and find a good 1st gen with low mileage.. Then you'll have a vehicle that will last as long as you want it to as long as you maintain it. There's a reason these things are so dang expensive, they're worth it. (Isn't that what they say about divorce? Lol) Anyway, IMO keep saving and get what you really want instead of having to settle for something you know what I mean? You'll be happier in the long run... and btw, Tacos ftw haha.
EDIT: Shit man should have read the whole thread haha. Congrats on the jeep and car. Enjoy it.
