Totally down for this. My Grandpa used to do HAM and it was something I was always interested in. Plus I just want my own call sign

There is a study app for HAM. Thats what 30 ppl used that got their HAM at Sedonafest last year did.

 

If your grandpa's call sign is still available, you could get his. My dad passed away almost 8 years ago. Once I pass the test, I am going to request his call sign.

Saw this Tacoma on the way back from my dads work. It was one of the purple colors and he color matched the tail lights the same color. Looked kinda of bad honestly.

 

Anytime! If you find out what it is, google it and one of the links should be the FCC website, or another site that I can't remember what it is. You can findout if someone else has the call sign or who had it last. It's all public record.

 

I know I've posed many questions here in the last couple months but here is the ultimate question. Would you guys say that I should get sliders first, skids, a lift, or lockers? Let the discussion begin.

 

All depends on what you want to do. If you want to get out & run some easy trails then I would say skids & sliders first. If your priority is looks, then go with wheels & lift first.

 

Thats a wide range of options bud and an ever bigger range of $$. All I can offer is that you work towards an ultimate goal and do it right the 1st time. Mods can be a big $ pit especially if you re-do mods cause you didn't like the outcome.I set a goal of functionality first, what can I get that puts me closer to that goal and what can I afford. For instance, I purchased my Taco with this 6" lift and shitty wheels and nerf bars. (TOTAL MALL CRAWLER) So my first goal was to make it so I could change my own tire when off or on road.

1. Welded Sliders
2. Hi lift
3. full spare & bed mount

All of these are very affordable and a great place to start. When you start talking lift then you need to consider wheels and tires... shit adds up quick!

Bottom line is you go with what fits YOUR goal, everyone on here is going to have an opinion and it will make you go into mod overload.

Wouldnt look all that bad. My father inlaw has the ome kit and is still running stock Michlin street tires. I was surprised how decent it still looked.
