Yeah! Mine are about the same weight as yours and to think I want to go to 37's... haha I wish someone made 5.29's for our front diffs before I went with 4.88's.

Maybe you should look into going to 4.10's or 4.56's.

Sorry about the link... I check the marketplace every morning and that one just seemed to jump out at me and be perfectly timed for you:D haha

Oh. haha Nice! Yeah 2.5 is for a built motor for sure! I'd love to follow in Superwerty's "new" footsteps someday:drool: Would be badass to have that kind of instant power! It will be interesting to see if he ends up dynoing his new setup when it is complete.

Yeah that could be more fun, since more power less weight. haha. Potentially more tickets though...

Not really. For us at our elevation would be the same as the 2.85 probably. My dad has the 2.85 and is at 6.5psi. Hasn't even needed a bigger pump yet.

He is getting one tho and the 7th injector kit. You need the 7th injector for the 2.5 wheel tho to help cool the sc as it spins so fast.

I won't be supposed if my dad get that this summer too..haha

Yeah but what if you ever take it to a lower elevation and forget about that little detail? You could blow a motor real quick probably. That or maybe you'll just heat soak the blower so fast it won't matter.

I think it would be fine if you have the right mods. The block should be fine. You just need the fuel. on my dads the Uconn will do the rest.

Or nothing meth/water injection can't help with :p

Til you pull a superwerty and throw a rod through the block... The 2.5 didn't even exist then I don't think. Would just depend on how you drove it at the low elevation. If you were careful you would be fine really. I was reading up on it some over on XR-U when the 2.5 first came out and they basically said not to run it on an un-built motor. It was all theory though maybe they have changed their minds since.

Superwerty was running E-85 with meth injection wasn't he? Although he blames it on a bad batch of E-85.

No idea. I don't follow his build.

And if my dad throughs a rod..he said he would just rebuild it and bore it out and all.

But I doubt my dad ever goes to sea level anyways.

Yeah. If he ever gets up to Boise or father North in Idaho and Washington you lose a 1000-2000ft of elevation pretty quickly though. Not sure if that will be quite enough. Just depends on what elevation all the XRU guys are running around at.

    Not a one thus far...
Seller received an email and I filed a report through ebay. Sure, use my shit but at the very least I'd better have a 50" bar sitting at my doorstep as compensation then. I'm all for whoring my truck out, but not like that.
