All 884,5,6 coils sold now should be the " x " type

OME introduced them in 2010 IIRC

Question for you folks running Dakars:

If I ordered from Toytec, who say that the Dakars are "2 1/2" lift complete rear springs priced each with bushings", then the only additional part I would need (besides longer rear shocks, obviously) to run this leaf pack would be the OME U-Bolts, which are the item listed on as "U-Bolt Set for OME Leaf Springs", correct? In other words, Toytec sends Dakars with the correct OME bushings to run this leaf pack, and longer U-Bolts are the only other needed part?

I would probably get the 3/8'' CB Drop Kit also.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Yep, pretty sure toytec includes the bushings, that and u-bolts and you should be all set. If you are doing axle shims you will need the center pin collars. It is a good idea to install them even if you are not using shims because you might need to add shims later, the CB drop doesn't always solve vibration issues. Check the shipping an handling charges, i think toytec lists the dakars at $400 plus shipping/handling. Down south motorsports sells them for $500 shipped, i think that includes u-bolts, DSM does not included rear bushings for the leafs, only front.

you can get new bushings from your dealership, that is if you do not want to push your bushing out of your current leaf pack. and you are correct on the U-bolts.

We include longer U bolts and ALL of the bushings when you order the Dakar springs with the full OME kit.

Thank you, but I would like to buy the Dakar's separately, I am not going to buy a full OME kit, these are just the leaf pack I want.

I see that the separate (I see priced each, obviously) listing for the Dakars says they include the bushings (all of the bushings needed?) but you do not supply the U-Bolts. Is there someone else on the site I can order the longer U-Bolts needed for Dakars or do you guys not do that?

Cool, thank you. But also, when you say that the Dakars come with bushings, does that mean they come with all the bushings needed? (I don't know too much about leaf packs, but I assume there are front and rear bushings for each pack?)

I just received my Dakars from Toytec a few days ago. They came with all of the bushings installed. Longer centering pins and collars for the shims

What I would like to know is if guys are throwing the shims in off the hop, or waiting to see if they might need them. I am inclined to just install them right away. Anyone have insight here?
