I am thinking of trading in my 2010 Dbl cab prerunner for a 4x4 and I was wondering what kit and if I should get a 3" or 6"? I plan on going climbing and mudding with it and my be the beach from time to time. I would like your guys input.

If you're trading it in and still have the stock suspension, swap them back out and put the current suspension under the new one when you get it. Dealers like them in stock configuration anyway and you won't be spending any money on the suspension. Win-win situation. Besides that, I say 3''. That big drop bracket hanging down will catch up on anything you climb over and gas & power will suck if you put 35's on it. Unless you regear, which will cost a lot too. Lots of money will be spent on the 6'', do it if you want and have the money. But for functionality and daily driving, I say stick with 3''.

It may not be the most realistic approach but if you aren't dead set on a new setup and you have some time and money you could probably find the stock parts here or on CL with a little bit of patience and come out ahead in the end.

Nah, you're not stuck. You can find stock suspension all the time on here and craigslist for cheap; wheels and tires too. A whole lot cheaper than a new Icon 3'' lift. I'd at least look into that, because it could save you a lot of money.
